Student Pastor
Eric Bachner
Eric Bachner currently serves as our Student Pastor at First Reformed Church. He is pursuing his MDiv online at Westminster Theological Seminary while also working as an actuary for MVP Healthcare during the week.
Eric’s wife, Tara, has been a member of our church since she was a teenager. Together, they are parents to two daughters, Abi and Hannah. Outside of work and ministry, Eric can often be found on the soccer field coaching his daughters, teaching them not just the game, but also important lessons in confidence, teamwork, and perseverance.
Pulpit Supply Pastor
Paul Ryan
Pastor Paul comes to us from the Capital City Rescue Mission’s New Life Discipleship Program in Albany, NY. Through this program Pastor Paul provides pastoral counseling and mentoring to men overcoming addictions and other spiritual brokenness. A former Stephen Minister and Gideon, Pastor Paul has a heart for the lost and for pointing people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. He is also a Pastor at Street Level Chapel,where they host services on Saturday nights. His wife Jeanne, established a worship ministry in 2009 and leads worship at Street Level Chapel.
